An eclectic group of ordinary people with ordinary problems and ordinary lives, discover extraordinary powers as a total eclipse casts its long shadow across the Earth.

All of these characters and more gradually explore their (often dangerous and unwelcome) gifts in this addictive drama, as they realize that with great power comes great danger. Are they freaks??
